Direct Fired Thermal Oxidizers
Cimarron’s Direct Fired Thermal Oxidizers are simple combustion devices that use natural draft or forced draft burners and are designed to maintain a specific destruction temperature and residence time to ensure thorough destruction efficiencies (98-99.99%). This system precisely monitors and controls the flow of air, assist gas, in order to obtain prescribed temperatures in the combustion chamber. This type of equipment is ideal for sensitive areas that require low emissions, reduced flame visibility, minimal heat and noise, ease of emissions sampling, and smokeless combustion. Depending on the end user process and footprint these can be vertical or horizontal configurations.
Standard systems are fully integrated and pre-packaged with:

Recuperative Thermal Oxidizers
Cimarron’s recuperative thermal oxidizers are complex incineration systems that are designed to destroy volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and hazardous air pollutants that are emitted from various processes. These oxidizers include heat recovery modules to preheat combustion air and incoming waste process streams to minimize fuel consumption for economical operation. Primary advantage of the unit is low emissions and efficient combustion efficiency with low fuel consumption. Destruction efficiencies up to 99.9% can be achieved.
Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers
Cimarron’s regenerative thermal oxidizers (RTO) are designed to provide maximum thermal efficiency while maintaining effective VOC/HAP. Cimarron’s RTOs are equipped with engineered high efficiency heat recovery beds for high heat recovery thus operating on very low fuel consumption. These systems are used in applications with low solvent/VOC loading and high exhaust flow rates.

Catalytic Thermal Oxidizers
Cimarron’s Catalytic Thermal Oxidizers/Catalytic Incinerators are designed to destruct hazarous air pollutants and volatile organic compounds in an effective manner. Basic design utilizes a catalyst to promote oxidation of the compounds and destruction is achieved at a lot lower temperature (600° F – 800° F) than a direct thermal oxidizer (1400° F – 1800° F). Destruction efficiencies up to 99.9% can be achieved. Primary advantage of Cimarron’s catalytic oxidizer is lower fuel requirements thus reducing the overall emission footprint.
Our systems are designed to provide maximum destruction efficiency and are tailored to meet the process conditions.

Tail Gas Incineration Units
Hydrogen sulfide or H2S is a lethal gas generated in refineries, petrochemical plants, and gas processing facilities. Sulfur recovery units produce tail gases that contain relatively substantial amounts of H2S. Cimarron designs a special type of incinerator to eliminate the H2S components, while inhibiting the creation of corrosive acid-by-products. Systems of this nature typically include dispersion stacks in efforts to disperse trace H2S particles. The highly efficient systems significantly reduce the impact of environmentally offensive compounds.

Halogenated Thermal Incineration Systems
Cimarron’s halogenated thermal oxidizer systems are designed to handle hazardous halogenated streams produced from various chemical processes in a safe and effective manner. Systems are designed to maintain high destruction efficiency of the compounds with an effective high chamber temperature and residence time.
