Custom Steam Assisted Flares
- We offer fully customized design packages for any size gas inlet diameter and any height requirement, that can be customized to fit your specific needs
Steam Assist flare systems are the ultimate option for any application that requires smokeless flow and has steam utilities available. Steam flares have a much wider range of flexibility for smokeless flow, when compared to other assisted flares, because the momentum that steam provides to the combustion zone is unmatched and can handle almost any range of waste gas compositions. These flare systems are most common in downstream applications such as refineries or at sites that have steam utilities available. Cimarron’s Steam Assisted flare systems are optimized to meet any smokeless and emission requirements.
Our real-time monitoring system, Sytelink 360®, helps optimize equipment performance and predict failures while providing data-logging capability on the cloud.
Decrease Utility Consumption: Steam flares are the answer for operators who have heavy gas applications with steam available. Cimarron provides the latest technology to optimize steam consumption for smokeless flow, compared to traditional steam assist flares. The reduction in steam consumption significantly reduces utility consumption and utility costs.
Our in-house process and design engineering team has over 100+ combined years of experience in plant, field, and facility level applications. We use the latest technology and industry leading expertise to size our units to provide an advanced and optimized design, that meets the latest industry standards specific to your unique process requirements.
We have a dedicated in-house service team with extensive dehydration commissioning, operating, and troubleshooting experience in most major basins. Rest assured that Cimarron will be available to support the product throughout its life.

Steam assisted flares are designed to dispose of heavier waste gases which have a greater tendency to smoke. To prevent incomplete combustion, steam is injected into the waste stream using peripheral steam rings, center steam spargers, and/or inner induction tubes. The injection of steam has two principal effects:
Steam flares are typically used in applications where the customer has high-pressure steam available on site.
