Flare Ignition Systems & Pilots
When you’re shopping for ignition systems or pilots, high reliability and safety are paramount. Cimarron offers both, backed by proven records and unparalleled ease of use.
Electronic Pilot Systems
Cimarron pilot systems ignite quickly, and re-ignite instantaneous if the pilot happens to lose its flame. From our hurricane-tested and certified Model 435 pilot (which meets API-537) and heavy-duty DuraSpark 1000 pilot system (designed for the rigors of the oil-patch), to the time-proven standard Model 850 and multiple easy-to-maintain retractable packages, we offer several fit-for-purpose options.
Flame Front Generator Pilot Systems
Flame front generators (FFGs) are effective ignition systems that have used for decades in flaring applications. The reliability, rugged construction, ease of operation, and economic advantages have made the FFG one of the most popular pilot ignition systems in the industry.
Continuum Ignitor
The Model 100 Continuum Ignitor uses a high-voltage electric arc to ignite a combustible air/gas mixture inside a “slipstream” chamber. The arc is set to occur every 20 seconds with a two-second duration, but timing is adjustable. The Continuum is widely used in applications that do not require a continuous pilot flame or do not have a separate or continuous source of pilot gas available.
